Since 1935, the Society and its members have been active in film and video making and have won many awards Regionally, Nationally, and Internationally. However, members do not have to be expert movie makers and we encourage beginners to join our club, where they will find lots of help readily available.
We hold meetings, usually on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month between September and May in the Quaker Meeting House, 2 Miller Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 1QJ, commencing at 7.30 p.m.
Workshops and technical evenings are part of our programme and talks with demonstrations by visiting speakers from other clubs providing an ongoing educational background.
Six competitions are held annually.
The Club is affiliated to the IAC – The Film & Video Institute (CEMRIAC Region) and plays an active part in Regional and National events.
New members are always welcome and we encourage people to attend one or two evenings before deciding to join us.
